5. Pricing & Payment
- All prices shown are inclusive of VAT at the applicable rate.
- Any service charges or packaging fees will be clearly displayed before you confirm payment.
- Payment is processed securely by our third-party payment provider. We do not store your full card details.
- All prices are in British Pounds (GBP) unless stated otherwise.
6. Cancellation & Refunds
Because food and beverages are perishable goods, orders are exempt from the 14-day cooling-off period under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
- Before preparation begins: You may cancel your Click & Collect or Pre-Order by contacting us promptly. If we have not begun preparing your food, we will issue a full refund.
- After preparation begins: Once food preparation has started, we are unable to offer a cancellation or refund.
- Pay at Table / Order & Pay: Once food has been served or your bill has been settled, refunds are not available through our online system. Please speak to a member of staff if you have any concerns about your meal.
- Quality issues: If you are dissatisfied with the quality of your food, please contact us within 24 hours. We will investigate and, where appropriate, offer a replacement or refund at our discretion.
- Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
7. Collection Terms (Click & Collect / Pre-Order)
- Please collect your order at the time specified in your confirmation.
- If you are unable to collect within 30 minutes of the stated time, we may not be able to guarantee the quality of your food and a refund may not be available.
- You may be asked to provide your name or order number on collection.
8. Allergen & Dietary Information
- Allergen information is available for all menu items. Please check before ordering.
- Our kitchen handles all 14 major allergens. Despite our best efforts, we cannot guarantee that any item is completely free from allergens, and cross-contamination may occur.
- If you have a severe allergy, please contact us directly before placing your order.
- It is your responsibility to check that your order is suitable for your dietary requirements.
9. Alcohol
If our menu includes alcoholic beverages, you confirm that you are 18 years of age or over when ordering. We operate a Challenge 25 policy and may request proof of age on collection or at the table.
10. Your Responsibilities
- You must provide accurate information (name, contact details, collection time, table number).
- You are responsible for reviewing allergen information and ensuring your order is suitable for your needs.
- You agree not to misuse our services or engage in fraudulent activity.
11. Availability & Menu Changes
We make every effort to keep our menu accurate and up to date. However, menu items, prices, and availability may change without notice. If an item you ordered is unavailable, we will contact you to offer an alternative or a refund for that item.
12. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including menus, images, text, and logos — is owned by or licensed to The Sunset Society. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our written permission.
13. Limitation of Liability
- Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
- We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from: your failure to collect an order on time; inaccurate information you provide; or matters beyond our reasonable control.
- Our total liability for any claim arising from an order shall not exceed the amount you paid for that order.
14. Third-Party Services
Our website uses third-party services including payment processing and security tools. Your use of these services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
15. Complaints
If you have a complaint, please contact us at [your email address] or call [your phone number]. We aim to respond within 5 working days. If we are unable to resolve your complaint, you may refer the matter to an alternative dispute resolution provider.
